I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Addictions Counselor, and my work as a therapist is deeply rooted in lived experience. I came to this path because I understand, on a personal level, what it means to long for connection, safety, and a sense of being truly seen.
My own healing journey led me to this profession. The parts of me that once needed care and understanding now guide the way I show up for others. This work is not just a career; it is a calling. I walk alongside my clients as a compassionate guide, holding space for their stories while honoring the inherent wisdom within them.
I am committed to continuously doing my own inner work. Therapy, reflection, and spiritual practice are integral parts of my life, allowing me to meet clients with authenticity, humility, and depth.
Outside of my work, I feel most alive in nature. I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, skiing, and fly fishing. I am drawn to the symbolic and the unseen—owls, astrology, depth psychology, and dreamwork all hold a special place in my life.
Hi, I’m Lindsey Hoerner, LCSW, LAC.
My Approach
I am a trauma-informed therapist who integrates evidence-based and depth-oriented approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and spiritual exploration.
Together, we will gently explore your internal world, helping you build trust with your “parts” so that you can lead from your core Self. IFS allows us to move beyond symptom management and into true healing at the root.
I also hold space for the intersection of psychology and spirituality, including transpersonal psychology, dreamwork, breathwork, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. I believe that many of the “technologies of the sacred” have always been available to us, and part of healing is remembering rather than pathologizing our human experience.
My work is grounded in the belief that you already carry the capacity for wholeness. Therapy is a process of uncovering, reconnecting, and embodying that truth.
